Get ready for your session with IBM SkillsBuild learners

You are a professional who has gained some experience with career entry and/or change. That´s exactly what IBM SkillsBuild learners would also like to achieve and where you can share your experience.

You are possibly learning coaching or mentoring skills with IBM Blue Core Mentoring or IBM Blue Core Coaching or any other internal or external program. You might already have experience supporting employees in their career development. These are all great skills to apply and practice in Career Conversations with SkillsBuild learners. However, a specific mentoring or coaching training is not a requirement.

The Career Conversations training resources below will get you ready for your virtual sessions. They will help you to understand your audience and their needs, how to approach sessions with them and make the most out of your volunteering for the IBM SkillsBuild learners and for you.

1. Who do you meet for Career Conversations?

2. What are Career Conversations about?

3. How to build rapport and handle non-career-related questions
